About the role We are looking for a Area Sales Manager for our Pfister Capital Product Sales team in Fuller. The specific sales areas are USA & Canada. The main market for Pfister Feeders is Cement, but we are also servicing adjacent markets. The team provide full sales service to our clients incl. site visits, joining conference, doing presentations, offer preparation, contract negotiations, clarifying technical details internally and externally, preparing order documents a.o. The focus on selling Pfister feeders is related to green innovations to support our clients to reduce CO2 emissions.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in technical or industrial sales, preferably within the cement, process, or heavy industry sectors.
  • Technical education such as an Engineering degree or technician qualification.
  • Strong commercial understanding with experience in contract negotiations and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and operate successfully in competitive market environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a consultative and customer-focused approach.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Open-minded and comfortable working across diverse cultures, countries, and business environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned sales region.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating installation or field service activities together with external contractors and internal service teams is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of Pfister capital feeders across the cement industry and adjacent markets within the USA & Canada region.
  • Proactively develop and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted consultant to clients by understanding their operational needs and recommending suitable technical solutions.
  • Manage the full sales process including customer visits, presentations, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and internal/external clarification of technical details.
  • Be fully accountable for achieving sales targets and budget objectives within the assigned territory, including supporting order intake (OI) budget planning.
  • Maintain and continuously update the installed customer base and sales pipeline within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with agents, external contractors, and Fuller's product and professional service teams to support successful project execution.
  • Identify opportunities to package installation services with product sales in order to expand project scope and maximize revenue potential.
  • Develop installation service proposals in coordination with external contractors and internal teams, including cost analysis, market pricing evaluations, cash flow studies, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure installation service project plans are properly prepared, including milestones, resource planning, and execution strategies to meet customer expectations and secure favorable commercial outcomes for Fuller.
  • Monitor market activity and competitive developments to strengthen Fuller's position in the industry.
  • Travel regularly within the sales region to support customers, develop relationships, and grow the business.
