About The Position

Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for a Area Safety Manager to join our Team in the Corpus Christi, TX area. The Area HSE Manager provides management level oversight for HSE Managers to ensure that the Company's HSE policies and procedures are implemented to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This is an exempt role that reports to the HSE Director. The position involves developing procedures for the performance of a variety of duties and performing complex duties within established guidelines.

Technical and administrative direction to HSE Managers
Staffing of job site JSE personnel
Oversee implementation of updates on all corporate HSE policies and procedures
Interact with Area HSE Managers to ensure job site compliance
Provide oversight and guidance in the investigation of incidents
Perform periodic jobsite inspections and prepare reports
Review entries and documentation of information into the HSE Management system for accuracy
Review all HSE documentation/reports for accuracy and completeness
Prepare HSE related input for bid proposals
Participate in the organization and implementation of HSE programs for new job sites
Assist in the development and implementation of HSE training programs for employees and supervisors
Assist with identification of jobsite HSE needs and strategies
Develop HSE improvement tools and processes

Responsibilities

Provide technical and administrative direction to HSE Managers, including the staffing of job site JSE personnel.
Oversee the implementation of updates on all corporate HSE policies and procedures.
Interact with Area HSE Managers to ensure job site compliance with all HSE policies and procedures.
