About The Position

Reliable Ducts Heating & Cooling is seeking an Experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing Multifamily Division. We are a Jacksonville-based, family-owned HVAC contractor providing service, maintenance, and new construction HVAC services throughout Florida. The Multifamily Construction Project Manager will oversee HVAC construction projects from planning and pre-construction through completion. This position is responsible for coordinating project teams, managing budgets and schedules, working with subcontractors and vendors, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed successfully and on time.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of proven Project Management experience, preferably in multifamily construction or HVAC.
  • Experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and project coordination.
  • Experience leading contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Strong budgeting, cost-control, and financial management skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel is required.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening, as well as ongoing testing throughout employment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage projects from initial planning through final completion.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project costs, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Oversee daily construction activities and site operations.
  • Ensure work meets applicable safety, quality, building, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers, project teams, leadership, and other stakeholders.
  • Quickly identify and resolve construction issues and project challenges.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates and reports to customers and management.
  • Ensure successful project closeout and customer satisfaction.
