About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role will lead and oversee multiple aggregates operations in Ennis, Clifton, and Gordon, TX, and Ashdown, AR to achieve production, safety, and financial performance goals. The position involves driving a strong safety culture, collaborating with plant teams to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost control, developing leaders and team members, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational improvements and strategic initiatives.

• Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and prioritize resources
• Proven capability to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Adaptability and sound decision-making skills in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Expertise in aggregates, mining, construction materials, or related heavy industrial operations
• Experience managing multiple sites or complex operations with full P&L accountability
• Strong operational leadership with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable business improvements
• Track record of building and developing high-performing, inclusive teams
• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Five years of aggregates operations management experience
• Advanced understanding of geology, mining methods, and applicable regulations
• Proven leadership skills managing multiple, diverse teams
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial thinking and ability to identify business opportunities

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple aggregates operations in Ennis, Clifton, and Gordon, TX, and Ashdown, AR to achieve production, safety, and financial performance goals
• Drive a strong safety culture by ensuring consistent adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with plant teams to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost control across all assigned locations
• Develop and coach leaders and team members to build capability, engagement, and succession readiness
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational improvements and strategic initiatives
