The Area Operations Manager reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager and will oversee Operations Managers, Lot Coordinators, operations, sales, and financials for respective areas. The Area Operations Manager will ensure all standards for professionalism, appearance, vehicle, work ethic, customer service, and workplace safety and cleanliness are always upheld. They will develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers, attend regional operations team weekly meetings, and monthly meetings with Regional Operations Managers to review goals and expectations. This role involves visiting all stores within the area on a weekly basis, attending Regional & EchoPark conference calls weekly, and holding in-person meetings with all associates to discuss issues, daily goals, constraints, and plans for all stores. The position also requires attending trade walks and/or morning team huddles on a daily basis, auditing nightly WIP emails/reports for opportunities of improvement, support needed, and/or overall location health, and replying weekly to every store’s nightly WIP emails/reports. Additionally, the Area Operations Manager will send weekly recap emails to store management for all stores in the area, ensure daily billing at all locations in the region, work with the Regional Operations Manager to ensure proper budgeting, staffing, and planning, and review monthly P&Ls and work with the Regional Operations Manager on financial improvement. They will ensure locations, visits, and calls are entered and notated in NetSuite, review and process requisition/SCF forms, review & correct daily missing punch & punch changes, submit bi-weekly AMEX reports, submit schedules to Human Resources monthly by the 25th, and submit all payroll for the area within assigned deadlines. The role also includes reviewing and/or submitting supply orders for all stores in the area, compiling monthly Risk Compliance reports for the area, assisting in all Accounts Payables/Receivables for the area, keeping up with new products available by supplier and informing technicians, ensuring effective and efficient operations, and being proficient in all Operations Manager and Lot Coordinator duties. The Area Operations Manager will ensure the proper roll-out of new products, policies, practices, and procedures, communicate daily with the Regional Operations Manager and all assigned Operations Managers & Lot Coordinators, and provide important data and updates to the Regional Operations Manager in a timely manner. Other duties may be assigned by the Regional Operations Manager.
