Area Ops and Fleet Manager Indianapolis
About The Position
Transportation Concierge Services is looking for an Area Operations & Fleet Manager to lead our Indianapolis driver team. This is a hands-on management role where you will lead, coach, and support the team, manage daily staffing and operational needs, and work with various departments to solve issues. You will also be responsible for coordinating vehicle needs and stepping into operations, including driving, when needed. We are looking for someone with strong leadership, organization, follow-through, and confidence using technology, and prior management experience is required. No transportation experience is necessary as the company will provide training.
Requirements
- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- Experience leading hourly employees is strongly preferred.
- Strong technology skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience with payroll, HRIS, scheduling, timekeeping, or workforce-management systems.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, reports, and comparison tools.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
- Comfortable coaching employees and holding people accountable.
- Able to balance desk work with the realities of a fast-moving operation.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Willing and able to drive company vehicles and transport members when needed.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support our Indianapolis driver team.
- Manage daily staffing and operational needs.
- Work in Paycom to manage employee information, timekeeping, attendance, and payroll-related items.
- Review payroll and comparison reports to help ensure drivers are paid correctly.
- Work closely with HR to maintain company policies, documentation, attendance, and accountability standards.
- Address employee performance concerns and complete required documentation.
- Monitor driver training, credentials, and compliance requirements.
- Work with Dispatch, Fleet, Compliance, and HR to solve day-to-day issues.
- Help coordinate vehicle needs, inspections, maintenance, and reporting.
- Use reports and technology to spot problems and follow them through to resolution.
- Step into operations when needed, including driving company vehicles and transporting members.
