The Area Manager, Locate will be responsible for performing various duties including oversight of work load distribution, customer relations, and interaction with Corporate, IT, purchasing, homeowners, and the general public. The role also involves oversight of disciplinary action, inspections of vehicles and equipment, and inventory ordering. This manager will mentor Supervisors for performance improvement, assist in damage resolution, interpret various reports (PDR, audits, production), and provide assistance on difficult locate jobs. Maintaining force to load requirements and conducting performance reviews for staff are also key responsibilities.
