About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking an Area Manager II to sell beverage products to retail food stores, wholesale grocers, restaurants, hotels, or businesses. This role involves managing transactions, maintaining expense accounts, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The Area Manager will also be responsible for supervisory duties, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and conflict resolution. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of sales/marketing concepts in the brewing industry, strong communication skills, familiarity with delivery and sales territories, and exhibit leadership and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of sales/marketing concepts used in the brewing industry.
  • Good verbal/written skills.
  • Familiarity with delivery & sales responsibilities and territories.
  • Leadership and strong work ethic skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Frequently lift and/or move, unassisted, up to 25 pounds and occasionally exert force of up to 60 pounds to lift and/or move objects.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
