About The Position

Join your locally owned Great Clips® salon organization in a leadership role that blends hands-on salon management with multi-salon oversight. As an Area Manager, you’ll directly manage one salon while also supporting and coaching a team of Salon Managers across a small group of additional locations. This role is ideal for an experienced salon or multi-unit leader who enjoys developing managers, maintaining strong brand standards, and driving consistent performance across teams. Ready to grow your leadership career? We’re looking for a Multi-Unit Manager to oversee multiple salon locations across the Fargo and Bismarck areas. You’ll play a key role in developing leaders, strengthening teams, and improving operations. Working side by side with salon managers, you’ll help solve challenges, identify opportunities, and drive results across locations.

Requirements

• Previous salon management experience or multi-unit retail management experience
• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• The desire and ability to manage a salon’s daily operations while motivating and supporting other Salon Managers
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing improvement plans
• Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations within the surrounding area
• Commitment to collaboration and accountability with a focus on proactively seeking solutions to challenges
