About The Position

Environment Control is seeking a motivated and hands-on Area Manager to oversee commercial cleaning operations throughout the Waukesha and Milwaukee County areas. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can develop employees, maintain customer relationships, and ensure operational excellence. Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly preferred. This is a full-time management position with a 2nd shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM, including occasional weekend coverage. The company is locally owned and has been providing high-quality cleaning services since 1972.

Requirements

• Commercial cleaning experience or related management experience
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Budget management experience
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Commitment to quality and operational excellence
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Respect for diverse cultures and backgrounds
• Ability to motivate and develop employees
• Valid Driver's License
• Driving record insurable under company insurance standards
• Criminal background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to complete customer-required drug testing, vaccinations, and annual flu shots (paid by company)

Responsibilities

• Manage nightly cleaning operations within an assigned territory
• Conduct quality control inspections and maintain service standards
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop employees
• Manage labor budgets and operational expenses
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Resolve service concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
• Train cleaning staff and provide ongoing coaching
• Assist with cleaning duties when necessary
