More about us: https://www.hach.com/about-us Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Area Manager is responsible for leading daily operations, ensuring customer demands are met, and driving continuous improvement through structured processes and performance metrics. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic execution, directly impacting operational performance and team development. This position is part of the Operations team located in Loveland, CO and will be on-site. The typical schedule is Monday–Friday, approximately 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with additional hours as required based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using data to drive continuous improvement and operational decision-making
  • Experience with production planning, scheduling, or workload balancing

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations to ensure internal and external customer demands are met
  • Lead team performance against Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP) metrics using Veralto Enterprise System (VES) tools.
  • Develop and execute data-driven action plans to improve operational performance and standard work
  • Manage production planning by aligning customer orders with labor and material availability
  • Optimize labor allocation and drive cross-training to increase flexibility
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives
  • Implement policy deployment plans aligned with short- and long-term business goals
  • Evaluate team performance and drive development plans, coaching, and corrective actions as needed
