About The Position

SuperCare Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Area Manager. The Area Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of a designated area, ensuring the success and growth of the business. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of managing and motivating a team of Branch Managers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of P&L management, sales, customer service, and operational excellence in healthcare.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field OR equivalent leadership experience in multi-unit healthcare management
  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably as an Area Manager or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including P&L responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of 3-5 Branch Managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the area through regular feedback and accountability.
  • Work in close partnership with the Regional HR Manager to establish robust succession plans oriented towards continued growth and improvement of the team and their KPIs.
  • Work closely with the Regional Directors and the Vice President of Sales and Field Operations to meet goals and develop plans to increase customer service, revenue, and employee retention.
  • Manage all aspects of P&L within your area, including budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and revenue optimization.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies and monitor financial performance closely without compromising service quality to achieve financial targets.
  • Meet and exceed all financial goals and develop plans to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans in alignment with the Regional Sales Director to drive revenue growth within the area.
  • Collaborate with Branch Managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Oversee Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system usage by each Respiratory Account Executive.
  • Hire and train new Respiratory Sales Executives in accordance with the Regional Sales Director.
  • Set and maintain high standards for customer service across all branches within the area.
  • Respond with agility to address customer feedback and concerns promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of branches, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
  • Supervise Branch Managers to review and routinely perform cost analysis and ensure supplies are adequately managed.
  • Implement operational improvements to optimize processes and workflows under the guidance and partnership of the Regional Director of Field Operations.
  • Work in close partnership with the Region Directors on accomplishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for the area and monitor performance against targets.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management, providing updates on area performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on the area's performance.
