It also requires maintaining quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing supporting documentation. The Area Manager identifies and resolves associate, customer, and supplier concerns, and supervises and develops associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and identifying training needs. The role emphasizes building high-performing teams, creating a culture of belonging, attracting and retaining talent, and acting with integrity and transparency. The position also focuses on serving customers by delivering results, adapting to customer needs, and making data-driven decisions.
