About The Position

Wolford is seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Manager to oversee retail operations across the West Coast market. Based in our Beverly Center boutique, this leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance, operational excellence, talent development, and exceptional client experiences across multiple locations within the Las Vegas and Southern California Market. The Area Manager serves as a strategic business partner to Store Managers and corporate leadership teams, ensuring the successful execution of company initiatives while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and luxury service excellence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of multi-unit retail leadership experience, and 5+ years store leadership, preferably within luxury retail, premium fashion, or specialty retail.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple store, or high volume locations and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret sales data and drive actionable results.
  • Experience in talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the Las Vegas and Southern California Market.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a client-centric culture, utilizing clienteling tools and data-driven outreach strategies to drive customer loyalty, repeat business, and revenue growth.
  • Proficiency with retail reporting systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and business analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and profitability across all assigned locations.
  • Analyze business trends, KPIs, and productivity metrics to identify opportunities and implement action plans.
  • Partner with Store Managers to develop and execute strategies that achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Monitor and improve conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, and client retention metrics.
  • Ensure consistent execution of corporate initiatives, promotional events, and clienteling strategies.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing retail leaders and sales teams.
  • Coach and mentor Store Managers and Assistant Managers to strengthen leadership capabilities and succession planning.
  • Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews, and development discussions.
  • Partner closely with Human Resources on employee relations, performance management, corrective action, and talent planning.
  • Foster an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture aligned with Wolford values.
  • Ensure stores maintain company standards for visual merchandising, inventory management, loss prevention, and operational compliance.
  • Monitor labor productivity and payroll management to support business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to support business initiatives.
  • Champion luxury service standards and ensure a consistent customer experience across all locations.
  • Support the development of local clientele-building initiatives and VIP customer engagement strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer loyalty and brand awareness within the market.
  • Serve as the primary field leader for the Las Vegas and Southern California Market.
  • Maintain a strong presence in stores through regular travel and business reviews.
  • Communicate business priorities and provide strategic direction to store leadership teams.
  • Act as a key liaison between field operations and corporate leadership.
