About The Position

Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility — a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Joining the Fab 62 team means contributing directly to one of the most strategically important construction efforts in the United States and helping deliver the infrastructure behind the next generation of microelectronics. In this role, you will manage direct reports and lead interdisciplinary teams to establish construction methods and support activities. You will oversee the construction process, review plans and specifications for costs and constructability, manage corporate processes and procedures, and lead proposal preparation. Your recommendations for studies, lessons learned, project assessments, and new methods will optimize completion of project construction activities. #LI-CL1

Requirements

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

Responsible for jobsite operations including onsite activities of Bechtel, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and their representatives and others as may be assigned within area of responsibility.
Establishes, coordinates and implements construction schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements.
Controls jobsite expenditures in assigned area for labor, equipment, material and services and ensures field operations are within budget.
Responsible for overall supervision of personnel in assigned area of responsibility.
Maintains relationships with the client and their representatives, as assigned.
Ensures that Bechtel and local/national regulatory safety codes, requirements and standards are being complied with in assigned area of responsibility.
Actively participates in scheduled safety meetings.
Performs general administrative functions inherent in jobsite supervisory positions.
Ensures corporate policies and procedures are fully implemented.
Provides back-up support to the Field Superintendent and/or Field Construction Manager.
Lead and integrate all field professional staff within the area to deliver safe, coordinated, and efficient construction execution.
Align civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and piping activities to area priorities, sequencing, and constraints.
Own area lookaheads, productivity, and critical path impacts; proactively remove constraints and drive recovery actions.
Set expectations and ensure consistent application of HSE and QA/QC requirements across all disciplines in the area.
Act as the primary field interface for superintendents, construction management, engineering, and project controls; escalate and resolve issues decisively.
