About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee daily cleaning operations, lead site supervisors, and ensure top-tier janitorial services across our Lapeer facilities. In this critical role, you will act as the primary liaison between client contacts and ground operations, ensuring high standards, efficiency, and full compliance with service level agreements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management, hospitality, or operational logistics.
• Proven ability to manage, motivate, and hold teams accountable across multiple shifts and physical locations.
• Strong time-management skills with the agility to navigate shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client relations and team management.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record required for travel between assigned sites.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Direct and support on-site supervisors and cleaning crews across multiple client locations to maintain exceptional cleaning quality and consistency.
• Client Relationship Management: Conduct regular site walkthroughs, address customer requests promptly, and cultivate long-term positive relationships with facility administrators.
• Staffing & Team Development: Oversee hiring, onboarding, and continuous hands-on training for cleaning staff. Foster an engaging, productive, and safe work culture.
• Quality Control & Auditing: Perform routine site inspections, generate performance reports, and implement immediate corrective action plans whenever service gaps occur.
• Resource & Expense Management: Monitor equipment maintenance, track chemical inventory, control labor hours, and ensure operations remain within budgeted parameters.
• Safety & Compliance: Guarantee strict adherence to company policies, OSHA guidelines, hazard communications, and local workplace safety regulations.
