About The Position

The Area Manager will manage daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure service delivery consistency across multiple access point locations, while maintaining alignment with workforce development goals. This position is responsible for the overall coordination and performance of program services and ensures that contract regulations are adhered to. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Demonstrated telephone, computer, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining flexibility to meet contract and operational needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Regional travel required
  • Able to work fully onsite, fully virtual, or in a hybrid environment
  • Clean driving record, valid Driver’s License, and reliable vehicle required

Nice To Haves

  • 5-7 years of previous management/supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise designated staff, conduct interviews and provide hiring recommendations, and support staff development and performance management
  • Build collaborative relationships with agencies, educational institutions, and community organizations to support awareness of available programs and services
  • Facilitate weekly staff meetings, supervise ongoing staff check-ins, address employee concerns, and ensure staff adherence to company and program policies
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring staff and program resources are utilized effectively and in alignment with program goals and policies
  • Monitor program budgets and expenditures, and provide input to Finance team regarding program fiscal matters
  • Review and approve purchase orders, expense reports, audit paperwork, process changes, and staff schedules
  • Monitor progress toward contractual performance targets, develop solutions for performance issues, and prepare performance reports
  • Address customer complaints/issues/concerns as needed
  • Conduct secondary review and provide authorized approval for all WIOA applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program requirements
  • Review CWDS records to ensure accurate service delivery documentation and overall compliance of participant case files
