About The Position

The Working Area Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations while actively participating in cleaning tasks and ensuring staff performance meets company standards. This non-exempt position is full-time and reports directly to the Operations Management Team. Responsible for stores within a geographic area: Must live in the assigned area. Work Week Starts Counting on a Saturday and Ends on a Friday - is for a 7-Day Work Week. Orlando - Locations Supervising field personnel, as well as working closely and collaboratively with Senior Managers and Executive staff both internally and externally. Part-time shifts available to work; Based on Location Availability: Work Week Starts Count on a Saturday and Ends on a Friday -This is for a 7 Day Work Week. Work Shifts Can Not Exceed Past 5 Days - Employees are NOT Allowed To Work More Than 5 Days consecutively in a 7 Day Work Week. Job Location Open 7 Days - Saturday and Sunday Part-time ONLY : Location, Shifts Can Not Pass 5 Days In a 7 Day Work Week. (No More Than 5 Work Days Consecutive): 5 Hours a Day or 6 Hours a Day Worked Depending on Location. 4 am - 9 am = Only 5 hours per Shift 4 am -10 am = Only 6 Hours Per Shift 6am - 10am = Only 4 Hours Per Shift If Required, Overnight Shift 1, One ( 1 ) Day Per Week, 12 am - 8:00am Day Porter Position: If available All Day Porter Positions are 4-Hour Shifts - NO OVERTIME Shifts vary by Location, and or if required.

Requirements

  • Documentation to work in the U.S.
  • Must be Available to work Overnights and Weekends

  • Must Have Slip-Resistant Shoes At All Times.
  • Must be Able to lift, push, and pull a Maximum of 50 pounds. (Trash, Boxes)
  • Must be Able to operate equipment weighing up to 200 pounds (i.e. Push, and Pull Machinery)
  • Must be Able to Bend, Kneel, and Extend to Reach Required Areas.
  • No Audio Headphones are allowed to be worn during working hours.
  • Must wear a uniform T-shirt to enter the location and present a Virtual Badge ID
  • Must wear closed shoes at all times.
  • No Leggings Allowed
  • No Shorts Allowed
  • MUST USE MOBILE-CELL TO Clock In and Clock Out of Shift
  • Must Be Mobile Application Savvy: Mobile: Payroll Applications Mobile: Timekeeping Applications
  • Must be Available to work Overnights and Weekends

  • NO TIME OF DURING: November 1ST of the year through January 15 of the next year.
  • Full knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, and Mobile Applications

  • Minimum 1 yr. Experience working as a supervisor in the janitorial or cleaning industry.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, Buff, and maintain tile and carpet floors
  • Clean Restrooms - Maintain Soap and Paper stocked up.
  • Clean and disinfect trash bins
  • Vacuum Daily and remove stains from carpets.
  • Detailed cleaning of gondolas, corner guards, and Machinery after use.
  • Pick up of trash throughout the store, including the front of the store.
  • Maintain the backroom organized and stocked with the chemicals provided.
  • Before any job duties are done in any store, you need to make sure you clock in and clock out in every store.
  • Ensure all employees are clocking in and out every day using the eHub (Timekeeping Portal).
  • If any position is missing personnel on any day, we need to work the store with the team.
  • Store working hours are required to be viewed throughout the day.
  • Ensure all personnel are in the store at the required hours.
  • Supervising all field personnel and providing a stimulating and supportive environment.
  • Create a harmonious working environment while motivating team members to perform at a high level of proficiency.
  • Building stronger customer and team relationships while maintaining and increasing standards of customer service.
  • Retain and grow staff while driving team performance through training and development of staff.
  • Effectively Train All Employees in their full job responsibilities.
  • Effectively Train All Team Leads in full job responsibilities.
  • Train every employee and Team lead at each jobsite assigned.
  • Take on all actions (s) necessary to maintain staffing needs, including but not limited to: advertising, training, scheduling, and providing disciplinary measures if/and when needed to all employees.
  • Complete, submit, and communicate all necessary forms, reports, or paperwork required in staffing, maintenance, and Management of each job site location assigned.
  • Recruit for open positions by posting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Coach, train, and appraise direct reports.
  • Retain staff at each store to contribute to the company's goals and serve the customer with exceptional service.
  • Complete Onboarding New Hire paperwork and Validate there are no errors prior to submitting to the office for Onboarding.
  • Validate all forms are complete and correct, name spelling, addresses, and validate all compliance-required documents are correctly signed prior to submitting to the corporate office for processing.
  • Oversee and maintain a safe and orderly work environment
  • Champion and model the company's values, code of conduct, and ethics.
  • Ensure that field personnel follow activities and behaviors that represent the company's policies and procedures.
  • Understand, anticipate, and shape Client expectations, holding a brand status.
  • Store Visits are mandatory every day. Every Area Manager needs to visit a minimum of 3 stores every day.
  • Be very judgmental when visiting stores.
  • If you have a new hire need to be at the store at 4:00am to train the New Hire employee. It is your responsibility for full training compliance in all areas of the job.
  • Store visits should be performed between 4:00 am through 10:00 am. Visit 3 stores per day.
  • Report your store visit issues with pictures and report the next day at the same location picture taken the corrective actions to clear the issue.
  • Need to follow up on the other stores every day if any issues arise until the visit is provided the next day.
  • Visit job sites regularly (Daily-Weekly-Weekends) to meet with our team and the Client (the customer)
  • Regularly communicate with store management on daily opportunities presented at each job site.
  • Verify completion of work assigned at each job site, taking all necessary action to ensure completion sof the cope of work, work in-store to fulfill store and deliver brand daily.
  • Project Management - monitor project activities and ensure completion within the scheduled time and budget.
  • Manage operational performance through utilizing Team Software (E-HUB), overtime, headcount, and other metrics
  • Perform site quality inspections using Client (SCOPES) standards
  • Provide document performance forms to management (Client SCOPES)
  • Communicate time-sensitive issues, including but not limited to work-related injuries, claims of discrimination, harassment, and other human resource matters, accordingly.
  • Maintain, ensure, and request all necessary supplies, chemicals, and equipment aare availableat each jassigned ob location
  • Extensive travel to and from various job sites throughout the day, as well as overnight when needed.
  • Knows and follows all safety rules, procedures, and measures necessary to remain in compliance with OSHA requirements
  • Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts
  • Manage and maintain the purchase of supplies and equipment for the optimization of resources for each location
  • Attend daily, weekly, and quarterly planning and communication meetings
  • Communicate with the Client store facilitator and Technician daily
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Supervise Team Leads and Store Custodians/Housekeeping Personnel.
  • Ensures all field personnel have received the required training.
  • Monitor and inspect stores to ensure they follow the required cleaning procedures
