About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate Area Manager for its Early Childhood Education Centers in Central New Jersey and surrounding areas. This role involves leading by example, fostering a positive environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, building and developing staff, guiding curriculum implementation, driving business results, managing financial operations, and engaging with prospective families and the community. The position requires travel between designated locations.

Requirements

  • At least one year of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred: two or more years).
  • Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
  • Experience in daycare or preschool settings.

Nice To Haves

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, displaying passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees in the day care.
  • Create an environment of trust, rapport, and inclusivity, easily connecting with diverse groups of people.
  • Ensure that the physical center environment adheres to health and safety standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
  • Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
  • Guide teachers in implementing the proprietary curriculum, leveraging a passion for learning.
  • Take advantage of engaging characters to drive the curriculum, creating a fun and enriching learning experience.
  • Drive consistent business results, measured through family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, generate monthly P&L reports, and oversee employee payroll.
  • Engage prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of the program.
  • Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.
  • Travel between designated locations as needed.
