About The Position

Join your locally owned Great Clips® salon organization in a leadership role that blends hands-on salon management with multi-salon oversight. As an Area Manager, you’ll directly manage one salon while also supporting and coaching a team of Salon Managers across a small group of additional locations. This role is ideal for an experienced salon or multi-unit leader who enjoys developing managers, maintaining strong brand standards, and driving consistent performance across teams. Take your leadership beyond a single salon. We’re seeking a Multi-Unit Manager to support multiple salon locations across the Fargo and Bismarck areas. In this role, you’ll develop leaders, elevate team performance, and strengthen operations. By partnering with salon managers, you’ll help solve problems, drive growth, and create consistency across locations.

Requirements

• Previous salon management experience or multi-unit retail management experience.
• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province).
• The desire and ability to manage a salon’s daily operations while motivating and supporting other Salon Managers.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing improvement plans.
• Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations within the surrounding area.
• Commitment to collaboration and accountability with a focus on proactively seeking solutions to challenges.
