About The Position

This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Saginaw MI Plant on a full-time basis. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits. You will hold responsibility over these skilled trades employees, including the work involves a considerable amount of creativity and perception and a high level of discernment in making decisions. Work is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of GMS; focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). Responsible for training others.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
7 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment , with experience in skilled trades
Experience with unions or UAW
5 years of experience in a people leader role
Ability to work / rotate through all 3 shifts as needed
Ability to work over-time , weekends, holidays, etc. as needed

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in Engineering
10 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment

A leader of skilled trades team with members who possess diverse skill sets and have similar overall objectives .
Typically leads other individual contributors and at times leads other people leaders.
