This position implements the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals. The Area Manager monitors and manages the productivity of their area by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. They maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing procedures. The Area Manager identifies and resolves associate, customer, and supplier concerns. They also supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling policies, and identifying training needs. This role is crucial in building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of belonging, and attracting and retaining top talent, all while upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics.
