This position is responsible for implementing the business plan for their area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals. They will monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. Additionally, they will maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing procedures. This role involves identifying and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns, as well as supervising and developing associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and identifying training needs. The Area Manager will foster a culture of belonging, attract and retain talent, and uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethics, acting in a selfless, humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent manner. They will serve customers by delivering results, putting the customer first, and adapting to their shopping habits, while making data-driven decisions that balance short and long-term priorities.
