This position is responsible for implementing the business plan for their area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals in areas such as production, quality, and safety. The role involves monitoring and managing the productivity of the area by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. It also requires maintaining quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing procedures. The Area Manager will identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns, and supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation processes. The role emphasizes respecting individuals, building high-performing teams, embracing diversity, creating a culture of belonging, and empowering associates to thrive.
