Requirements

Five years of Rolling Mill experience required
Ability to recall specifics, methods, and processes
Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane required
Basic computer skills required (outlook, excel, word, etc)
Ability to use all measuring devices (tapes, micrometer, inside outside calipers, etc)
Must be able to multi-task and follow through with task and direction given as well as give direction to direct reports
Must be able to work well with others and create a team atmosphere starting with safety
Must be able to follow instructions given by supervisor or manager in timely and safe manner
Must be respectful to others, responsible and dependable

Responsibilities

Maintain a continuous focus on cost and ways to decrease waste and cost
Provide tools and training to develop new personnel and prepare existing employees for advancement
Ability to adhere to CMC safety policies and procedures
Trouble shoots work related problems using job knowledge, experience, and by communicating with others (pulpit operator, process manager, maintenance personnel, etc)
Assist maintenance personnel when requested or needed
Provide training and maintain equipment
