Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a steel manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of continuous casting processes and equipment
Critical thinking, strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
Strong customer service skills and leadership skills including the ability to interact with personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and understand business imperatives
Strong communication Skills (verbal, written, listening) including ability to communicate effectively with all levels or organization
Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the continuous caster operations, optimizing productivity and ensuring seamless production processes
Coordinate with melting area and other departments to minimize downtime and breakdowns to maximize production of quality products
Identify opportunities, collaborate and implement changes to improve manufacturing processes and reduce cost
Maintain CMC's quality standards, while utilizing all necessary safety measures, plant equipment, and other tools
Develop and lead a Safety Culture that is consistent with CMC standards
Oversee the maintenance and repair of casting equipment, minimizing downtime and disruptions
