About The Position

Area Maintenance Technicians are responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. This role involves general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety at the properties. Key responsibilities include resident inspections, maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of the property, completing work orders, preparing units for new occupancy, and grounds-keeping. The technician will also assist with property turns.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year apartment or multi-housing maintenance experience required
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to use hands and fingers
• Ability to speak, see, and hear
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to walk and climb stairs
• Ability to think, concentrate, and communicate

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of apartment or multi-housing maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC certification preferred
