Requirements

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or related technical degree preferred
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize projects, drive market growth, and partner with sales to grow business in the region
  • 5 years of combined experience in general management, operations management, or maintenance management in a plant environment preferred
  • Services, manufacturing, or repair business experience is a plus
  • Rotating equipment, electric motors, and/or power systems experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in managing and leading teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of the industrial service industry and its challenges
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting
  • Ability to adapt to change and drive innovation

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the business unit to deliver safety, operational, profit, sales, and customer KPI goals utilizing the IPS operating system known as CIPS (Continuous Improvement Process Solution).
  • Overall responsibility for the business in the Golden Triangle of SE TX and SW LA, managing and growing the key value stream of repair services, new product sales, field services, and asset management.
  • Build and sustain a culture around the IPS values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Customer Focus, and Entrepreneurial Spirit by utilizing a Servant Leadership mindset and practices.
  • Recruit and develop a top-performing organization while improving overall employee engagement.
  • Foster a high-performance culture aligned with IPS values (Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Customer Focus, and Entrepreneurial Spirit).
  • Lead by example, demonstrating servant leadership to inspire and motivate the team.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, focusing on improving employee engagement.
  • Develop business strategies, annual operating plans (AOP), and tactical execution to achieve objectives. Monitor financial, sales, cost, operating, and customer service trends, making adjustments as necessary.
  • This position has P&L responsibility for locations assigned and is a key member of the region’s leadership team.
  • Drive operational excellence by leveraging the CIPS system to achieve safety, operational, profit, sales, and customer KPI goals.
  • Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Implement innovative solutions and best practices to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Proactively address customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and loyalty.
