About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role will lead ready-mix and aggregate operations across assigned plants with a strong focus on safety, service, quality, and operational excellence. The General Manager will drive commercial performance by partnering with sales, dispatch, and operations teams to meet customer needs and achieve business goals. They will optimize production, delivery, fleet utilization, inventory, and cost controls to improve efficiency and profitability. Additionally, the role involves building, coaching, and supporting high-performing teams while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensuring compliance with company policies, environmental requirements, DOT regulations, and applicable safety standards is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Strong business leadership capability with the ability to manage financial performance, operational priorities, and customer commitments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ready-mix operations, dispatch, fleet management, production planning, and quality control.
