About The Position

Sodexo is hiring an Area Executive Chef for the Lake Washington school district in Seattle, Washington. This position provides culinary support to schools within the district. The Area Executive Chef will be an energetic, polished culinary professional with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. This is an on-site opportunity in Seattle Washington that requires occasional travel to schools in the district.

Requirements

  • a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a culinary lead working in multi-site units/high-volume facilities.
  • a proven track record for developing, coaching, leading, and engaging culinary teams.
  • a strong culinary background.
  • excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest standards and can implement company policies
  • strong management skills.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years

  • a knowledge of school age meal patterns (preferred)
