About The Position

The Measure/Breakout/Order performs the measuring, breakout, and ordering for installation by going to customer’s homes and reviewing the job as outlined by the salesperson. Will actually measure the job and check for potential installation problems. The jobs will be broken out on the computer to prepare it for ordering. We specialize in residential sunrooms & screen rooms.

Requirements

Must have clean driving record and background (no exceptions)
Must be able to read & takeoff materials from blueprints (no exceptions)
Three to five years of product experience as an installer and/or carpenter
Must understand all product lines and know how to diagnose and correct service problems
Able to use various power and hand tools
Able to communicate effectively with the customer and employees

Nice To Haves

Experience with residential sunrooms & screen rooms is preferred
Computer knowledge is helpful

Responsibilities

Maintain branch production timelines within job duties
Check jobs for potential installation problems
Review concerns with Operations Superintendent and Regional Operations Manager
Break out jobs on computer
Break out/order all peripheral/non-PE materials and provide list for ordering items prior to scheduled installation
Create a list of all materials so that job may be properly staged in the warehouse
Review contract with customer
Deal positively with the customer and/or employee
Prepare/review jobs for CAD, zoning, HOA, and/or permitting as needed
Permit drop off/pick up as needed
Perform service work as needed
Work with subcontractors regarding foundation or PE breakout/installation questions
Other duties may be assigned
