We are looking for a Construction Production Leader to lead our Superintendents, trade partners, and production efforts across our markets. This role is for someone who can see the big picture while still paying attention to the details that make or break a home, a budget, a schedule, and a customer experience. This is not a desk job; you’ll be in the field, on job sites, working with Superintendents, trade partners, customers, and internal teams to make sure we deliver what we promise: High-quality homes. Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• 3-5 years construction or residential building experience, preferably new home construction
• Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, feel, and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Stays up to date on the basic concepts and methods used by trade partners including framing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
• Knowledgeable of all governmental regulations related to the development of land or construction of homes within a respective jurisdiction

Responsibilities

• Keep homes on or under budget by monitoring VPOs, identifying issues early, negotiating pricing, and holding Superintendents and trade partners accountable for smart decisions.
• Keep homes moving and closings on track by ensuring schedules are properly managed, milestones are met, and homes are delivered on or ahead of budgeted production days.
• Inspect homes throughout the construction process, build strong relationships with customers, proactively communicate progress, and solve problems before they become problems.
• Coach, challenge, and hold trade partners accountable to our standards, working closely with Purchasing to ensure the right partners, capacity, and people are on every job.
• Follow proven processes and identify inefficiencies, recommend better solutions, and help continuously improve.
