This position is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, administering, and sustaining an aggressive Financial Development Plan targeting the assigned area. It involves developing, planning, and conducting appropriate fundraising activities in support of the Division's budget and program, and submitting these plans to the Officer(s) in charge for review, direction, and approval. The role also performs both short and long-term program planning, develops recommendations for enhancing Financial Development Program effectiveness, and establishes methods for monitoring and evaluating fundraising goals and objectives. Additionally, it involves planning, developing, and initiating a fundraising strategy to secure corporate gifts, sponsorships, and foundation support for special programs and projects by researching financial statuses and philosophies of organizations to identify potential major gift prospects and cultivating relationships with corporate officials. A key responsibility is ensuring all donor data is entered into the mandated donor management system within 72 hours of an event.
