The Project Manager (PM) is a key role responsible for the planning, interpretation, organization, scheduling, and management of projects throughout all development phases. Reporting to the Project Executive, the PM serves as the primary contact for projects, overseeing staffing, schedules, and the project team to ensure efficient resource utilization. This role involves managing design development, the production of working drawings, and construction administration. The PM is crucial in establishing client relationships and directing all project activities. The position requires demonstrated experience in all phases of architecture/interiors and engineering services, with substantial project management experience. Additionally, the PM will mentor junior colleagues, coordinate internal processes like QAQC reviews and Revit management, and uphold professional standards, sound judgment, and professionalism. Team building, motivation, and fostering a continuous learning environment are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years related experience in architectural projects.
  • Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited School.
  • Ability to manage a project in Revit, but also potential use of Sketch-Up and Photoshop.
  • Superior verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong technical abilities to be able to oversee all aspects of a project’s design and construction.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers projects from start to finish with minimal oversight.
  • Effectively manages multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effectively manages project staff and schedule to ensure completion within allocated period of time.
  • Maintains ongoing, positive and proactive client relationships.
  • Effectively and proactively coaches, mentors and provides performance – enhancing feedback to team members.
  • Implements process to reduce risks and exposure in all phases of the project.
  • Directs activities related to construction admin, including scheduling, preparation of shop drawings, field observations, report of change orders, and pay requests.
  • Ensures that CA activities emphasizes efficiency, quality assurance, and code compliance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform business development activities and assist in marketing activities.
  • Mentor junior colleagues in all areas of professional and technical development.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control, including regarding Revit.
