About The Position

BSA is seeking a current Architecture student for internship opportunities in their Indianapolis studio. The firm specializes in creating spaces that support, enhance, and inspire healing, learning, and discovery. Interns will support a wide range of design projects, contribute to construction documents, assist with presentations, conduct research, and collaborate on design concepts. They will also prepare working drawings, participate in project design meetings, attend client meetings, and visit construction sites to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Architecture
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, 3D CADD, SketchUp
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of design projects, working closely with our experienced team.
• Contribute to the creation of construction documents.
• Assist with renderings and visual presentations.
• Conduct research that directly influences design decisions.
• Collaborate on developing design concepts, focusing on aesthetics, functionality, serviceability, and client specifications.
• Prepare working drawings based on sketches and design inputs.
• Participate in project design meetings, gaining insight into how multi-disciplinary teams work together.
• Attend client meetings and visit construction sites to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the architecture team.
