About The Position
Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC (GMC) is one of the largest, privately-held architecture and engineering firms in the Southeast, recently recognized by ENR as Southeast’s Design Firm of the Year for 2024. The firm has 27 offices located throughout Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. GMC is seeking Architecture Interns (Auburn) to work in their Auburn, AL, Birmingham, AL, and Montgomery AL offices. This internship will provide students with the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and assignments, with managers and colleagues assisting to ensure the intern's development and learning process. GMC is a comprehensive multi-disciplined firm equipped to provide services in architecture, interior design, civil engineering, environmental services, landscape architecture, planning, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering, electrical engineering, surveying, and disaster recovery.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree program, majoring in Architecture, or a related field
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s license
