About The Position
We are looking for an Architecture Intern to join our Architecture team this upcoming summer! As an Intern, you will assist with the design, evaluation and implementation of new buildings and building alterations, for primarily municipal and industrial clients; most frequently for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Our workplace thrives on a hybrid model, combining in-office collaboration and flexibility. Join us in office, three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp
Responsibilities
- Performing design calculations, sketches and technical comparisons
- Reviewing and editing project specifications
- Preparing and editing designs and drawings recommended by Senior Architect
- Preparing portions of project documents
- Researching code and regulatory requirements
- Researching design options, component specifications and document findings for Senior Architect and Job Manager
- Responding to contractor’s questions and preparing alternate designs as needed under the guidance of Senior Architect
- Performing analysis and design retrofit of new and existing facilities
