About The Position

MG2 is looking for talented Co-Op Student Interns to join our New York City office for Fall Semester 2026. This internship offers a chance to dive into the fast-paced world of retail and food & beverage design, working on real-world projects that anticipate lifestyle shifts and shape how people connect with brands. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn, ready to contribute to impactful projects alongside passionate designers. Interns will gain hands-on experience in design modeling, documentation, and production/coordination of construction documents, building a strong foundation in the professional practice of architecture within a collaborative environment that values creativity, detail, and innovation. This is an opportunity for driven individuals to grow their careers and make a mark.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Architecture or Interior Design, or a degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exhibits MG2 Practice Values of Integrated Approach, Design Excellence, Social Responsibility, Leadership, and Results.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in design modeling and schematic design.
  • Assist in document preparation.
  • Gather and generate data for projects.
  • Perform research and development for projects.
  • Assist team with clerical needs, such as archiving and document distribution and tracking.
  • Assist with other project tasks as assigned.
