About The Position

Läderach North America is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Architectural Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of retail development projects. This role will oversee permitting, due diligence, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with brand standards. This position will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of construction documentation, and MEP systems
  • Experience managing permitting processes and coordinating with jurisdictions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to review plans and identify discrepancies and compliance issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • An accredited degree in architecture (or related field)
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial/retail architectural design
  • Proficient (Expert Level) in CAD software
  • A strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and residential construction practices.
  • Experienced in all phases of project development, from schematic design to construction documentation and administration.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with internal team members or departments.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Eligible to work in the US and located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area

Responsibilities

  • Manage permitting submissions and approvals, including tracking and coordination with authorities
  • Conduct mall and jurisdictional due diligence to determine project requirements and approval processes
  • Review architectural and MEP drawings for compliance with company, landlord, and local standards
  • Coordinate site surveys, including scheduling consultants and distributing documentation
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and landlords across the project lifecycle
  • Track project milestones and maintain accurate documentation
  • Identify risks and proactively develop solutions to maintain timelines
  • Support construction and store development teams with technical review and coordination
