About The Position

EXP is seeking a licensed architect with 3–5 years of experience to support architectural project delivery while leading BIM coordination for complex, multidisciplinary projects. This role is ideal for a technically strong architect who enjoys coordination, assumes ownership of project execution, and is ready to grow into senior project management responsibilities. Our Miami and Fort Lauderdale offices support projects across Florida and nationwide, including multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional buildings.

Requirements

  • Licensed Architect
  • 3–5 years of professional architectural experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for architectural documentation and coordination
  • Strong experience in BIM coordination on multidisciplinary projects
  • Solid understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and building systems
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, or institutional projects preferred
  • Familiarity with Florida Building Code and zoning coordination is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead BIM coordination and model management for architectural projects using Autodesk Revit
  • Support project management activities, including consultant coordination, schedules, and deliverables
  • Prepare and manage construction documents across all design phases
  • Establish project Revit models, templates, and workflows aligned with client and office BIM standards
  • Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, and civil consultants
  • Perform clash detection and resolution in collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Provide technical leadership to junior staff and contribute to quality control
  • Participate in client and consultant coordination meetings
  • Support construction administration, RFIs, submittments, and design clarifications
