About The Position

The Architectural Illustrator executes architectural illustrations using Revit, CAD, Lumion, and Photoshop to produce high quality 3D images that are as close to reality as possible. Models will then be placed in Lumion to produce a movie with music. The movie will then be loaded on a YouTube platform for viewing by ownership. The process and direction for these images will come from the Design & Development team in the form of photos, sketches, markups, prints, and other formats that will require an understanding of architecture and the construction process. Use of the department resources for files, materials, signage, and equipment will also be a requirement. When possible, a 3D print will be required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent design illustrator experience.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp and Microsoft series of programs.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to work long hours.
Visionary thinker, creative, willing to look beyond the typical and be inventive.
Able to read, understand and produce meaningful architectural drawings.
Drawings will be used to communicate design intent to others for full production and execution.
