This is a full-time position located at the Capital Annex Building in Baton Rouge, LA. This position acts as the first point of contact for all matters related to the National Register of Historic Places program in Louisiana, which includes, but is not limited to, reviewing documentation for historic properties, providing technical assistance to applicants, coordinating nomination processes, and handling correspondence through multiple mediums with all relevant parties regarding the National Register of Historic Places. This position also regularly holds and assists in presentations and trainings regarding the National Register of Historic Places program to relevant parties and the public at large. This position works directly with the National Register program. Applicants who have experience successfully drafting and listing National Register nominations in the Register are encouraged to apply.
