Requirements

  • Master's degree from a recognized college or university in architectural history, historic preservation, art history or closely related area.
  • A minimum of three years experience in historical research and surveying.
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to the above requirements.

  • Researching buildings and residences for historical significance.
  • Surveying buildings and residences for historical significance.
  • Evaluating buildings and residences for historical significance.
  • Promoting the preservation of historical buildings and residences for the Historic Development Commission.
