About The Position

InterAgency, Inc. is a small, growing environmental consultancy with a national profile, providing planning, environmental consulting, and regulatory coordination for large-scale infrastructure and resiliency programs in the DC metro area. Our goal is to facilitate major climate change initiatives and enhance our local community. We are seeking a mid-career/senior architect to transition their career away from buildings and into resiliency projects. The successful candidate will help lead InterAgency’s planning efforts for clean water infrastructure implementation. Responsibilities include client management, planning, scheduling, regulatory coordination, permitting, and construction administration. Candidates must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage all aspects of a project. Resiliency and climate change work has historically been the purview of engineers. At InterAgency, we have proved that a group of environmental scientists, planners, and architects can contribute meaningfully to these programs. The successful candidate is a senior manager—someone with the gravitas to speak to large groups and present information in a succinct manner. The ability to craft concise email and prepare presentation materials is essential.
