We’re looking for an Architectural Drafter to join our Building Envelope Architecture team. In this role, you’ll contribute technical design expertise to new construction AutoCAD drawings for new high-rise buildings. You’ll work closely with project managers, architects, consultants, and clients to help deliver efficient, code-compliant, and high-quality building envelope solutions.

Requirements

  • 3-10 years of experience in building envelope, façade, or restoration work.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with NYC Building Codes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

  • Professional Licensure (RA or PE).
  • OSHA 10 training
  • NYC DOB 4-Hour Supported Scaffold and/or 16-Hour Suspended Scaffold User Certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or assist in all phases of building envelope projects—from investigation and design through construction administration and close-out.
  • Support the architecture team by preparing and reviewing construction documents, AutoCAD drawings, and detail packages.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout project lifecycles, including field inspections and quality control.
  • Stay up to date on NYC Building Codes, zoning regulations, and preservation standards.
