About The Position

In this role, you will inspect, repair, and rework hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware to ensure all materials and finished products meet quality standards and customer requirements. You would also inspect incoming materials and completed doors/frames for defects and spec compliance, support production with quality checks and issue resolution, perform final inspections prior to shipment (dimensions, hardware prep, labeling, workmanship), complete minor repairs and rework (sanding, touch-up, adjustments), assist with NCRs, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts, read shop drawings and verify order accuracy, and document inspections and maintain quality records. You will also operate sit-down forklifts and reach trucks to safely move materials. Other duties as assigned, including housekeeping.

Requirements

• Safety-minded with at least 2 years in quality inspection or manufacturing
• Able to read blueprints and perform basic math (decimals/fractions)
• Skilled with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers) and power tools (drill, grinder, sander)
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and tablets
• Forklift certified (sit-down and stand-up)
• Strong attention to detail; able to lift and handle heavy materials

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hollow metal doors/frames or similar products preferred
