About The Position

K2M Design is seeking passionate Architectural Designers who are positive contributors to our culture, dedicated to meeting client needs, and add value through expertise, contributing to the growth of K2M. The Architectural team member works independently, developing design or technical solutions under the supervision of a Project Manager, Architect, Designer, Engineer, and other staff, while continuing their growth and education.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited college or university.
2+ years’ experience in the field of Architecture.
Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit, scheduling software, specification software, and standard business software (MSOffice, Adobe suite, Google docs).
Continuing education relevant for position.
Membership/activity in a non-profit or community interest group.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to project team as instructed by and under the direct supervision of the Project Manager or Architect, or Engineer.
Uses design technology software to prepare project documents.
Draws finished designs from sketches.
Reviews completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations.
Performs analysis of design, planning, and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts.
Prepares project specifications, compiling, and analyzing relevant data.
Writes reports and specifications.
Continues to work towards completing the requirements of the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) for discipline.
Travels for client meetings, consultant coordination, site surveys, construction administration, etc. (5-10% of time reserved for travel)
