About The Position

The Thrasher Group is seeking a Designer/Draftsman to join their Architectural division in Charleston, WV. This role involves creating and developing architectural designs and collaborating with professionals to realize innovative and functional structures. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
  • 1–3 years of industry experience
  • Proficiency in Revit and Lumion or similar 3D modeling software
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and draft using Revit and other applications to bring the concept and ideas of project stakeholders to life, for both new construction and renovation projects.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables for clients at all stages of the design process.
  • Gain an understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods.
  • Produce architectural and interior design work on projects and assist in the preparation of construction documents on assigned projects.
  • Assist with design calculations, quantities, review of technical specifications, and design estimates.
