About The Position
The Thrasher Group is seeking a Designer/Draftsman to join their Architectural division in Charleston, WV. This role involves creating and developing architectural designs and collaborating with professionals to realize innovative and functional structures. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- 1–3 years of industry experience
- Proficiency in Revit and Lumion or similar 3D modeling software
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and draft using Revit and other applications to bring the concept and ideas of project stakeholders to life, for both new construction and renovation projects.
- Produce high-quality deliverables for clients at all stages of the design process.
- Gain an understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods.
- Produce architectural and interior design work on projects and assist in the preparation of construction documents on assigned projects.
- Assist with design calculations, quantities, review of technical specifications, and design estimates.
