About The Position

Scope Architectural Consulting is a growing architectural firm specializing in industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, corporate, commercial, and mission-critical facilities throughout the United States. We help businesses grow by delivering thoughtful, practical design solutions that create lasting value. At Scope, accountability, technical excellence, and client service drive everything we do. As an Architectural Designer, you will work alongside experienced architects and project managers while taking meaningful ownership of project deliverables from day one. Our Charlotte office is located adjacent to a private lake with walking trails and outdoor gathering spaces. Employees also have access to an on-site fitness facility with locker rooms and showers. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Charlotte, NC. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not being considered. We are looking for a motivated, technically strong designer who moves confidently from concept through construction documentation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in an architecture firm
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and construction document production
  • Experience with SketchUp and visualization tools such as Enscape or Lumion
  • Solid understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and building systems
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and personal accountability
  • Portfolio of work samples required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop design concepts and refine them into clear, coordinated, buildable solutions
  • Produce high-quality Revit-based construction documents
  • Assist with site planning, building layouts, and space planning studies
  • Develop 3D models and visualizations
  • Coordinate with internal team members and external consultants
  • Support permitting submissions and agency review responses
  • Participate in client meetings, design discussions, and project coordination
  • Contribute to production standards and workflow improvements
