About The Position

LRK is seeking an Architectural Designer to join their Baton Rouge, LA studio. This role will work alongside a Principal on the front-end design of large mixed-use and multifamily projects. The position focuses on the conceptual and schematic phases of design, transforming ideas into compelling design solutions through site planning, building design, massing studies, graphic presentations, and presentation-quality packages. This role is ideal for a designer energized by the earliest stages of the design process, exploring ideas, developing concepts, and creating compelling visual narratives that shape transformative mixed-use and multifamily communities.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience
• Strong design and problem-solving skills
• Excellent graphic and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, iterative design environment
• Professional degree in Architecture

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Revit
• Proficiency in SketchUp
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience creating presentation graphics
• Experience creating renderings
• Experience creating client presentation materials
